Drawing this page made me have to remember what the houses I saw in Japan looked like. I found some good reference pictures, thankfully, so that with my memories produced the Takahashi family home. ^_^ And "Takahashi" (Yumi's family name) is what's written there on the wall. I noticed a lot of homes in Japan had the family name displayed like this.
