Welcome to "Message in a Bottle," the manga I created in early 2005 and submitted to TOKYOPOP's 5th Rising Stars of Manga competition. This manga was not chosen as a winner, but I wanted to put it online so any curious soul could check it out. I hope you enjoy it!
ABOUT: The waves washed something unusual onto Jenny's beach; a message from across the Pacific. It reached out and called to her, and she knew she must answer its request... A sweet shoujo story, because it's what I do best! :D

INSPIRATIONS:
I'm a huge visual kei/J-rock fan. Therefore, Minoru's look was mostly inspired by Yomi from the band Nightmare. A little bit of Sakito was thrown in too, but mostly it was Yomi I based him on!
I got the idea for this manga when I heard a news report about a boy in France (I believe it was) who received a message in a bottle that had been sent out by a girl along the east coast of the United States. After that, I toyed around with the idea and eventually came up with this!
